At this moment

I can relish in the connection made

The love shared

Yes, yes in this moment

A smile hits my face

Thinking that someone like you

Is out there in this world

That God glistened a tear

creating you

Knowing how great you'll become

How beautiful you are

How much good will come from you.


So yes, yes in this moment

I want to call you

I want to share a space or two

Just to bring back

If not just for the moment

All the wonderful things associated

With you

Me, what should have been.. 


Yes, yes in this moment

I'm resigned to the ideas of

The memories shared

To the thoughts of the past

I promised myself

I would let it be

Respect what is

Even if it was only

And let you live your life.


Yes, yes in this moment

Instead of a text message

or a call

I'll send love your way

If but a Prayer spoken to the Wind...

Have:

Positive energy,

As your mind leans towards the negative

Healthy

As that's what you deserve, and to not settle

Peace

that you will find and have it

A home

because you deserve it

Love

as there's never enough of it

Nourishment 

as you tend to forget too

Slow down

As you tend to move too fast

Kindess

As you're too damn hard on yourself

Strength

through each day

Perspective

That you will stress less

Awareness

That you find happiness in healthy

and finally:

Know that even though I am not around

You are still held tightly

In at least 1 heart


That though the next moments of life will come

That we will move forward with the lives we live

The new loves found

This new world apart

That though these moments will happen less and less

They'll still be there

Nestled in the goodness of my mind

That though we parted in not the best of ways

I will only hold to

and let in 

Those memories 

The moments we shared

That how in you

My life made a bit more sense

That after so much heartache

I found peace by your side

Strength from your presence
